ARUOHHA DND Resin Dice Gazes Eye Dice Liquid Core Flaming RPG Sharp Edged Dice Set with Gift Box, Polyhedral D and D Dic — for gift shoppers

What it is

Well, I reckon this here's a set of seven dice made out of resin with some kind of liquid inside that's supposed to look like a flaming eye or something. They're what grown-ups call 'sharp-edged' which means they're all pointy and geometric-like, not rounded off like the dice from our old Monopoly set. You get all the shapes the Dungeons and Dragons folks need - a triangle one (D4), a square one (D6), and some other fancy shapes with more sides than I care to count. They come in a metal box that's probably shinier than Aunt Alexandra's jewelry case. The liquid core is supposed to move around when you roll 'em, which sounds mighty interesting if you ask me.

A gift for the dice-rolling crowd

Now, if you're looking to buy something for someone who spends their Saturday nights pretending to be elves and wizards, these dice might just do the trick. The metal box makes it look all official and important, like something you'd give to someone you actually like. The flaming eye design is probably going to appeal to folks who think regular dice are about as exciting as watching paint dry on the Radley house. But I'd be careful about giving these to children - those sharp edges look like they could put someone's eye out, and Atticus always says we should think about safety first. They'd probably work fine for teenagers or grown-ups who won't go sticking them in their mouths.

Is it worth it?

Truth is, I can't rightly say if these dice are worth the money since nobody's telling us what they cost. But I can tell you this much - they're probably fancier than what most folks need just to play a game. The liquid core business sounds neat and all, but I wonder if it might make the dice roll funny or uneven-like. And those sharp edges, while they look impressive, might not feel too comfortable if you're handling them all evening long. If you've got money to burn and you want something that looks special, these might suit you fine. But if you're just looking for dice that'll do the job without all the fancy trimmings, you could probably find something simpler that works just as well for less money.
